Principal's Message:

Dear Dos Palos Elementary Families,

Welcome to the 2025–2026 school year! I hope this letter finds you and your loved ones well and enjoying a restful and fun-filled summer. It is with great pride and excitement that I introduce myself as the new Principal of Dos Palos Elementary School.

My name is Sergio E. Contreras, and it is truly an honor to serve our community in this role. I bring with me 28 years of experience in education and service, each step building my understanding of how to support students, families, and staff in meaningful ways. Over the years, I have had the privilege to serve as a custodian, office clerk, paraeducator, warehouse manager, classroom teacher, academic coach, and most recently, vice principal. Each role has shaped my belief that every child can succeed when supported by a caring school community.

I am committed to fostering a safe, inclusive, and academically challenging environment where all students thrive. My door is always open, and I value strong communication and collaboration between school and home. Together, we can ensure that every student at Dos Palos Elementary grows academically, socially, and emotionally.

As we begin this new chapter together, I look forward to meeting each of you, listening to your hopes for your children, and working side by side to make this an outstanding year for our students.
