Principal's Message

Dear Dos Palos Elementary Families, 

      Welcome, my  name is Alec Grijalva and it gives me great pride to be the new Principal at Dos Palos Elementary School.  Although I am new to this position, I am not a new face on our campus.  For the past five years I have served as a Special Education Teacher.  Although I have moved into a new position, my goal for D.P.E students has not changed. My goal will be to continue to provide your child with a first class education while also ensuring their social-emotional needs are being met.  I am Dos Palos home grown and a true Bronco at heart.  I personally know the pride our town has for our schools and our students.  I will without a doubt continue to carry on this tradition for your child.  

Just as the saying goes, "Once a Bronco, Always a Bronco" this also holds true for the Stallion Family.  On behalf of the staff at Dos Palos Elementary, I am excited to have the opportunity to welcome you to our Stallion Family.  You will very soon find out that our staff is professional, compassionate, and dedicated to your  child's education experience.  

At  D.P.E we are truly a a team and you are one of the most important members when it comes to  your child's education.  We invite you and encourage you to play an active role in activities, monitoring your child's progress, and being present on our campus.  I am looking forward to building a positive relationship with all families so we can continue to make a difference in our student's lives.
